Internet on four Hawaiian islands was completely cut out today due to a fiber optic cable being cut in the Pacific Ocean. I apologize for this inconvenience. I did learn that SBUX wireless is not part of Oceanic Time Warner so if this happens again I can log in from there and update the site early. Today was not that eventful, from an after-hours analysis point-of-view. However, there were some one day reversals that were not pleasant in some stocks that were making nice bases, gold stocks like NEM, ABX, AZK, and GG broke hard today with the GLD and GDX making their ways into my short scans. I also had two early short positions for PLATINUM subscribers. I remain very cash heavy with a short-term bullish bias, intermediate term bearish bias, and overall no bias as the market is still very mixed. Cash is still king until we see more above-average volume.
new short positions: CISG LM
CISG is failing at resistance near the 50 day moving average and breaking down below the 200 day moving average, putting in a bearish intraday session, on heavy volume and max-red BOP. Cut your final loss with a close above the 50 day moving average, if the stock does not move lower immediately.
LM is failing at the 50 day moving average and breaking down below the 200 day moving average, putting in a very bearish intraday reversal, on strong volume with BOP nearing the red levels. Cut your final loss with a close above the 50 day moving average, if the stock does not move lower immediately.

Internet wasn’t just down it was complete knocked out to Maui, Lanai, Molokai, and the Big Island all day. There was nothing anyone could have done. A main fiber optic line was cut somewhere in the Molokai channel near Lanai.
