This should not be of any surprise but, obviously, there were no new short positions for Monday as the market continues to be impervious to any attempt by the bears to knock stocks down. As long as we face a market this strong, I think it is 1000x smarter to just step to the side and let the longs run. There were a few short candidates but none of them were strong enough to warrant a short. ACN, URS, TSRA, BWA, and LSTR were the few stocks that did make my scan. That isn’t a lot at all. I am still short four stocks but none of them are producing big gains. All they are doing is holding on to their current levels and that means that they are holds but nothing else. I will continue to focus on longs until the distribution shows up in this market.
