Once again, there were more than a couple of handful of stocks in my short scans but not a single one is telling me to go long. Therefore, tonight is another do-nothing night for shorts and I must recommend that you focus on longs right now, as long as we continue to trend higher by rallying on strong volume and selling off on lower volume. Despite the do nothing day in the overall market there was still a little bit more of a bearish tone to it than bullish and that is probably why I don’t have any full covers or partial covers. At the same time it was not bearish enough to set anything up in a high reward/low risk situation where I could go short. For right now, I still believe the prudent side is to focus on the long side so that is what I will do until the general market indexes start rolling over on strong volume and I start getting more and better set ups on the short side.
