new speculative swing longs: BYI DNDN PLM PDLI OCCF
BYI is breaking out past March resistance and bouncing off the 50 dma on very strong volume. Cut your loss with a close below the 50 dma, if this stock does not move higher immediately.
DNDN is bouncing off support which is near the early April breakout area, on very strong volume. Cut your loss w/ a close below 14.92, if the stock does not move higher immediately. This is too speculative for newbie emotional traders. I do not recommend playing this one, unless you are experienced.
PLM is bouncing off support of the pivot point area on strong volume. This stock looks ready to start another leg higher like the one it had in 2006. Cut your loss w/ a close below the 3.60 area, if the stock does not move higher immediately. This stock is too risky for newbie emotional traders. This is only recommended for experienced investors.
PDLI is breaking out of a short flat-like cup pattern on very strong volume. This stock is very pretty since the March lows but this current base is a little too short making this long a bit risky. Cut your loss w/ a close below the 23.55 area, if the stock does not follow through immediately.
OCCF is breaking out above the 50 dma after bouncing off the 200 dma, on strong volume. Cut your final loss with a close below the 200 dma, if the stock does not move higher immediately. This stock is a LIMIT ONLY stock and is not recommended for newbie emotional investors.
adding to existing Featured swing long: SCA
SCA is bouncing off the 50 dma on strong volume. This is the only chart tonight that along with being pretty also carries strong fundies. EPS has grown 21% and 66% the past two quarters and estimates for 07 and 08 are for YOY EPS growth of 19% and 17% respectively, and sales has grown between 22% and 52% the past four quarters. Fund ownership has increased from 23 to 43 the past quarter. Cut your first loss w/ a close below the 50 dma and your final loss w/ a close below the April lows, if the stock does not move higher immediately.
adding to existing speculative long: SLP
SLP is bouncing off of support which is near the 50 dma, on very strong volume. EPS has grown between 133% and 200% the past five quarters and sales has grown between 26% and 78% during the same time. YOY EPS estimates for 07 and 08 are for 125% and 56% respectively. This stock is still very risky for newbie emotional traders so I would avoid going long here. Cut your first loss w/ a close below the recent lows and your final loss w/ a close below the 50 dma, if the stock does not move higher immediately.
