It finally happened. The Dow closed lower for the day. Today’s close does not come as a surprise and it was much worse underneath the surface. Trump’s speech will no doubt create noise for pundits to bicker over. We need to make sure we continue to remain discipline in our approach. The worse of it was in the Russell 2000. The small cap index finished lower by 1.5%. We will see where we start the day tomorrow. For now, we will continue to monitor our exits and if we continue to sell off our portfolio will be well protected.
Short commentary this evening due to a lot of order management. We will be back tomorrow to see if this market follows through to the downside.
