For the first time in a long time (well over a week) we had a new short last night and it has so far turned out well. Hopefully, that will continue. If not, that is just the way the ball bounces. Right now, I am not focusing on the short side and I am flying through my shorts scans. Unless they look perfect like MON’s setup did Wednesday, there is no point in fighting this trend which is now starting to reward almost everything I touch. Just like all bull markets of the past used to do. It is good that some normalcy is coming back to the market. Stocks on my watchlist for possible future shorts include DLB, NICE, AZO, EFX, TRH, PETM, DGIT, BKC, FLO, MNKD, BIG, FAF, RYL, LNCR, STRA, and ESI. We still have some shorts really working like DV but we also have a few shorts near what appears to be the end of their downtrends like CYT and CHTT. So soon we might not have even a handful of shorts, if this uptrend continues. The pundits can remain short, I will play the trends as they come, and make money when stocks go up or make money or save money or not lose a lot of money when stocks go down. I am professional enough to realize it is IMPOSSIBLE to win all the time. Those that say you can…run away as fast as you can. Aloha and TGIF!
