It should be no surprise with today’s strong rally that there were not any new shorts. However, we did recently go short a fistful of stocks when the market appeared ready to breakdown and three of those need to be fully covered. You can find those in the Gold Forums under the section that I post sells & watchlist of longs/shorts. If you go there you can find what stocks I am covering and what stocks I am partially covering. You can also look and see what six stocks were on my short scans today that I am watching for a low volume rally for a future short. I am going to wrap this section up here and recommend that everyone read and FOCUS on the longs analysis and the videos tonight. They are very important today. We still have 37 shorts and more than 30 still look great!! So even if you have to take some small losses from the recent shorts remember that has to happen in the stock market. You are NEVER going to be always right and usually in bear markets MY success ratio is much higher. But OBVIOUSLY TO EVERY PROFESSIONAL (and I PRAY that it is to some of you new guys also) this market is the hardest ever and no matter if you had a previous 80% to 90% win/loss ratio this year you have a 20%-30% win/loss ratio. In bull markets I usually get 3 out of 4 right, in every other bear market I have dealt with I have been at least 1 out of 2, but in this bear market we are lucky to get 1 out of 3 right. In 2003 over 1,000 stocks went up 100%, in 2008 only 22 stocks went up 100%. The VIX was the highest it has ever been since 1987. I hope EVERYONE FULLY UNDERSTANDS that this is the HARDEST market I have seen or been through since 1996 when I started. DON’T GET DISCOURAGED!!! Keep your cash level high, your positions in both longs and shorts small, and remember to cut your losses immediately if the stock doesn’t work! This too shall pass. This market will not be choppy yet go nowhere forever. This will change. Please watch the videos in the Gold Forums and read the Longs Analysis. Thank you all and STAY POSITIVE!
